Listen to Pharrell on iHeartRadio

Pharrell Williams is showing off his singles from his latest album, G I R L.  On Saturday, the Grammy-winning producer took the stage as the musical guest on NBC's "Saturday Night Live," performing his hit track "Happy."

"Skateboard P" was backed by a team of young dancers whose exuberant choreography provided a vivid backdrop to the song's joyful tune.  For his second appearance, Pharrell took on his second single, "Marilyn Monroe."  He enlisted the help of composer Hans Zimmer, who conducted a band of female string players.  In both performances, Pharrell wore a green high-crowned hat similar to the one that made news during the Grammy Awards.

Pharrell also showed off his comedy skills in the night's final skit alongside Kenan Thompson, Taran Killam, Vanessa Bayer and host Anna Kendrick.  Bayer and Kendrick played singing sisters auditioning for a single back-up singer position.  Kendrick showed off her vocal skills and was obviously the better singer of the two, but the punch-line came when Pharrell rejected her and chose her less-talented sister.  The skit also poked fun at Pharrell's hat with both Killam and Thompson ending the sketch with their own versions of the hat.
