OSCAR BEST PICTURE NOMINEES SPRINT BACK INTO THEATERS

A number of movies that scored a nomination for best picture Thursday will be rereleased in theaters this weekend in hopes of growing their coffers. They include Gravity, Captain Phillips, 12 Years a Slave and Dallas Buyers Club, all of which were first released in October or early November.

After landing a Best Picture nomination Thursday, Warner Bros. will be sending Gravity back to IMAX 3D screens at the end of the month on January 31st.
