Internships

An internship at iHeartMedia can provide you the chance to explore your career interests, acquire marketable job skills while “learning the ropes” of the industry, establish professional contacts, and gain practical work experience.

iHeartMedia’s internship is based in the Promotions Department of our radio stations.  Our internships offer meaningful educational and work experiences designed to meet the academic and career goals of the intern.  Our management will teach and encourage, but it is up to the student to bring an enthusiasm to learn. Internships at
iHeartMedia are learning experiences; they are unpaid.

Eligibility: Applicants must be
• At least 18 years of age
• Enrolled in an accredited school, college or university
• Able to provide a letter from the student’s school stating that the student will be granted course credit for the internship.

Interested students should forward the internship application, cover letter, and resume to: TravisDylan@
iHeartMedia.com

An internship at
iHeartMedia does not secure employment upon graduation.

Internships are offered year-round.  The duration of the internship should reflect the length of the student’s semester.  Number of hours worked and start date are determined by the student’s internship advisor/school.  Schedule is flexible and is mutually agreed upon by the station supervisor and student.
iHeartMedia reserves the right to terminate a student’s internship at any point for reasons such as misconduct, poor attendance, insubordination or other serious problems.

iHeartMedia is an equal opportunity company.  We recruit, hire, train, compensate, and promote without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by federal and state law.  We especially encourage minorities and women to apply to our internship program.
